Search supervisory legislation

The supervisory legislation search function enables you to search for all the legal texts serving as the basis for BaFin’s activities. You can categorise your search by EU legislation, laws, guidelines, orders and ordinances. Content can also be filtered according to BaFin’s three areas of supervision: securities, banking and insurance supervision.

You can restrict the search by entering several search terms and the word AND between the search terms (AND link). Wildcards – * for any sequence of letters and ? for an individual letter – are permitted. The tilde symbol (~) at the end of an individual word supports fuzzy searches.

I’m not making excuses for what happened in the banking and financial markets… but as we create new law let’s adopt tools like this to make a strong foundation for our future… we can put this crisis to good use… make real transparency a cornerstone of regulation and enforcement…
